Weekdays/Evenings: The Lippincott Library is located within the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center. Access is unrestricted, but Penn students, faculty, and staff must show a valid PennCard and visitors are required to provide a valid photo ID. After 10pm access is restricted to holders of PennCards, Library Courtesy Cards, and Drexel IDs.

Weekends/Holidays: Access is restricted to holders of PennCards, Library Courtesy Cards, and Penn Alumni Cards, Drexel, Bryn Mawr, Haverford, Swarthmore IDs, and IDs from Research Libraries Group Shares Members.

Advance Access: Requests for advance access can be made by calling Monday through Friday, 9-5.

Guests of Penn Students: Penn students who want to bring visiting friends into the Library during the weekend should call Lippincott Reference, (215) 898-5924, in advance to arrange for an access pass.
