A block of rooms has been reserved under the name, "Africana Librarians Council" for Wednesday night, 18 April, through Saturday night, 21 April. The block rate for singles or doubles is $174/night. The cut-off date for block-rate reservations was extended to Friday, 30 March.

Ground transportation from Philadelphia International Airport. The SEPTA R1 Airport regional rail line stations at University City and 30th Street Station are the same distance from the Sheraton University City - 30th Street Station is a magnificent building and taxis are plentiful there. The walk from 30th Street Station passes along a number of sidewalks closed for construction.
