Quan Song wen published
The 360-volume Quan Song wen 全宋文 (Complete Song Prose), which took one hundred or so Chinese scholars and twenty years to compile, was finally published in Shanghai during the last summer and has been added to Penn's Chinese Collection. The first and last volume of this set, which contain the table of contents and author index, are held in the East Asia Seminar Room (526 Van Pelt Library).
Zhongguo zong jiao li shi wen xian ji cheng is received and being cataloged
The Collection has received and is now processing the Zhongguo zong jiao li shi wen xian ji cheng 中國宗教歷史文獻集成 in 120 volumes. This set contain many important primary sources for the study of Chinese religions. It is divided into five major sub-sets, i.e. Buddhist works not included in the Chinese Tripitaka, Taoist literarture outside the Daozang 道藏, texts of early Chinese Christianity, scriptures of Chinese Islam, and writings of popular religions (esp. baojuan 寶卷).
