Middle East Collection: Newspapers and Journals
The library has over 150 active serial subscriptions to a variety of newspapers, magazines and journals from and about the Middle East. Important daily and weekly newspaper subscriptions include al-Quds al-'Arabi (London), al-Hayat (London), Zaman (Istanbul) and al-Ghad (Amman) [all via Newspapers Direct]
Weekly and monthly periodicals, especially those with literary and political themes, such as Ruz al-Yusuf (Cairo), Akhbar al-Adab (Cairo), al-Kutub: wijhat nazar (Cairo), Bukhara (Tehran), al-Ma’rifah (Damascus), can readily be found in the Current Periodicals section on the first floor of the Van Pelt Library.
