Keffer Collection of Sheet Music,
John H. Bufford operated lithography firms in New York (1835-1840) and Boston (1841-1871). He received his training by working for William S. Pendleton in Boston and later for George Endicott and Nathaniel Currier in New York.
There are approximately fifty-four items in the collection for which the Bufford firms provided the illustrations.
