Philadelphia Lithographers: Stephen H. Gimber (1810-1862)

Stephen H. Gimber, engraver, portraitist, miniaturist, and lithographer, was born in England. From 1829 to 1842 Gimber worked in New York, primarily for the Pendleton firm of lithography. Gimber worked in Philadelphia from 1842 until his death in 1862.
