Even before Anderson retired from singing in 1965, she was often asked to serve on the boards of various musical and political organizations. The surprising extent of this involvement can be seen in the list of these organizations in Appendix A. The materials in this series comprise minutes from meetings of boards of directors, memos, newsletters, and other materials sent to Anderson, arranged chronologically. Her correspondence with these organizations is found in General Correspondence and indexed in Eureka.
