Lecture 3: M. Pradesh
Mary B. Wheeler starts off her lecture with a visit to Srinagar, the current capital of Kashmir, where she admires the Shankar Acharya temple nestled at the top of a mountain and the serpintine rivers and spring-fed lakes Kashmir. She concludes her afternoon with lunch in the garden of the summer palace of the former Maharaja of Jamu and Kashmir, now transformed into the luxurious Oberoi Hotel.
