Equipment Lending in the Veterinary Library

The Basics:
Location: Steven W. Atwood Library & Information Commons (one laptop is available at NBC)
Eligibility: Current Penn Vet students, faculty and staff with PennKey and active PennCard.
Borrowing Period: Normally, items may be checked out for 4 hours. However, you may request extended checkout periods at the front desk.
Overdue fines: $25 per day.

Procedures:

• Laptops may be checked out at any time. Other equipment may be checked out or returned at the service desk on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.
• Special arrangements may be made to increase the length of time you may keep the item.
• You will be expected to read and sign an equipment loan agreement each time you borrow equipment.
• Our equipment loan guidelines provide additional information
• Return your equipment on time. You will be charged a $25/day late fee starting 1 minute after the scheduled return time.
