Seminar room: Seats 24. Equipped with a PC and an 80 inch full HD LED/LCD digital display with laptop connection.

Group study rooms: Equipped with PCs and 46 inch HD LED/LCD displays with laptop connections.
- 3 large 10-person group study rooms
- 4 small 5-person group study rooms
- 1 group study room holding 2 Mediascape tables
Software: All PCs include a full suite of software that supports productivity, geographic information systems, math/statistics, visual design/publishing, web development/digital management, and media
display.
Printing: Black & white and color printing. To download drivers to print from your laptop, please visit this page and select the
appropriate drivers under "Franklin Field Education Commons".
Scanning: BookScan station that can scan to USB, email, and Google Docs in several filetypes and quality levels.
General Policies
- The Education Commons is a collaborative group study space. There is no official policy on noise levels, and students are encouraged to work together and have discussions freely. Disruptive levels of noise are not allowed, so please, no yelling or calling across the Commons.
- Food and covered drinks are permitted throughout the Commons. We may request that you take large, complex, or extremely fragrant meals outside to avoid disturbing other students or causing unintentional mess. If there is a spill, please notify the desk attendant so that we can have it cleaned up as soon as possible, and keep the Commons clean and neat.
- The seminar room and group study rooms are equipped with plates that allow you to connect your laptop to the displays. If you need a cable to connect your laptop, please ask at the desk. We hold several HDMI, VGA, and Mac/HDMI adapters that you can sign out for the duration of your visit to the Commons.
- If there is a conflict with reservations or any general problem, please notify the desk attendant. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the Commons, or services that you would like to see us bring here, please let us know!
