Group study rooms

The Education Commons holds several types of group study rooms.
- Rooms 225, 226, and 235 are 10-person group study rooms equipped with whiteboards, 80-inch LED/LCD screens, PCs, and laptop connections.
- Rooms 228, 229, and 231 are 5-person group study rooms equipped with whiteboards, 46-inch LED/LCD screens, PCs, and laptop connections.
- Room 230 is a 4-person group study room equipped with a whiteboard, 46-inch LED/LCD screen, PC, and laptop connection.
- Room 236 holds our 2 Mediascape tables. You can read more about these new collaborative spaces on our technology page.
- Each patron is limited to a total of 3 hours of reservations at any one time. Once you have used your 3 hours, you are free to reserve a room again.
- Your group must arrive within 10 minutes of the start of your reservation. After 10 minutes, your reservation may be cancelled in order to allow other students to reserve the space.
- Group study rooms are intended for group work. Students are free to work in the study rooms alone when they are not in use, but you may not reserve the study room for a single person to work in. Patrons working without a group may be asked to leave the room to allow a group to use the space, and reservations with a single person working may be cancelled.
- To allow students to find each other easily, you may name your reservation to identify your group. Please note that abuse of this naming system will result in your reservation being cancelled.
- To reserve a group study room or locate your group's reservation, use the button to the left to visit our reservation page. Please remember to click the confirmation link in your email to confirm your reservation after submitting your information!
