Financial Administrator
Responsible for working with Director of Finance and Administrative Services on Financial matters of the Libraries, including accounting, accounts payable, monitoring expenditures, and report preparation. Additional duties include record keeping of departmental revenue streams, managing the monthly State sales and use tax filing process, grant management and reporting, and completing departmental purchases. Responsible for direct supervision of administrative assistant. Oversees day-to-day operations within the Business Office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and minimum of three years experience or equivalent in education and experience.
- Organizational, analytical, communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work well with other departments.
Preferred:
- Prior University experience and familiarity with BEN Financials, Business Objects, Purchasing Card management, Grant Management and University policies.
- Experience with Sales and Use tax filing procedures.
