Postcard depicting Mendele the Bookseller clashing with a competitor after the two, having fallen asleep at the reins while reciting their prayers, had crashed their wagons into each other. The episode is based on the story “Fishke der krumer” [“Fishke the Lame”] by Abramovitsh.
