Las Casas
Jay I. Kislak Foundation
Bartholomé de Las Casas,
Brevissima relación de la destruycion de las Indias [nine tracts on the Indies].

Seville: Sebastian Trugillo, 1552-1553.

Las Casas's critique is particularly powerful because Las Casas was not only a master of important traditions of Scholastic philosophy and logic, he was also an acute observer who reported on the situation of the Indians in an immediate, persuasive style.
