Contemporary early Nineteenth century view of Petrarch's tomb in Arquà, located near the spring below Petrarch's home. Arquà is in the Euganean hills, in Italy's Veneto region. Petrarch's tomb was built by his son-in-law, Francescuolo da Brossano, six years after the Poet's death.
