Bubble Tea House
3404 Sansom St.(215) 243-0804
I've never tried the bubble tea, but the food is good. The menu includes Asian selections as well as sandwiches and soup.
New Deck Tavern
3408 Sansom St.(215) 386-4600
Better than average pub food. Can be heavily populated with students and a bit noisy, but hey, some of us like that.
Pod
3636 Sansom St.(215) 387-1803
Trendy decor. Both times I've eaten here, I've felt as if I'd stumbled onto the set of Kubrick's 2001. Pan-asian cuisine, with sushi-moving along the bar on a conveyor belt. Atmosphere possibly better than the food, which seems a bit high-priced, but the restaurant is very popular.
La Terrasse
3432 Sansom St.(215) 386-5000
A white-tablecloth restaurant with a diverse menu. I was taken out to lunch here a few weeks ago with some development people.
White Dog
3420 Sansom St.(215) 386-9224
Good traditional food, moderately priced.

Lemongrass
3630 Lancaster Ave.(215) 222-8042
A fine Thai restaurant. A bit more of a walk (ten minutes, tops; north on 36th to Lancaster, then turn right), but worth it.
Han-Wool
3608 Chestnut St.(215) 382-6221
Japanese/Korean cuisine. I usually select Korean dishes when I eat here.

Good Chinese food served in booths that hold no more than four. Not much atmosphere, but the food is good and reasonably priced.

For those interested in the student dining experience. A moderately priced food court with several stations on the ground floor of Houston Hall.
