Compact shelving units will be installed in parts of the Rare Book and Manuscript Library stack areas in a construction project scheduled to begin on April 25 and conclude on or about July 1. During this time, many of the printed book collections in the department will be inaccessible. If you must use these collections during this period, please contact Rare Book and Manuscript Library staff in advance in order to make arrangements.
Some collections will not be affected by the construction, including:
--Manuscript collections
--The Furness Shakespeare Library
