Ovid has set new browser minimums so that users can take advantage of powerful new features. Effective June 30, 2003, Ovid's requirements will be upgraded to IE 5.x and above, and Netscape 6.x and above. Some new features also require javaScript and cookies to be enabled.

Ovid's new minimum standards fall within the University standards for supported browsers. For Macintosh users: Internet Explorer 5.1.4 or Netscape 6.2.3. For Windows users: Internet Explorer 6.0 or Netscape 6.2.3.
