A team of Penn librarians will travel to Gaborone, Botswana in the late Spring to conduct an environmental scan of the information needs of Penn-Botswana programs, and to begin discussions related to supporting research activities of the inaugural class in University of Botswana School of Medicine. This project, funded in large part through a grant from the Elsevier Foundation, will be the basis for planning and disseminating scientific, technical, and medical information resources in support of Penn's work in Botswana.
