The Penn Libraries are partnering with the Free Library of Philadelphia and Penn's African Studies Center in the One Book, One Philadelphia citywide reading project for 2008.

Copies of What Is the What: the autobiography of Valentino Achak Deng: a novel by Dave Eggers (San Francisco: McSweeney's, 2006) are available for borrowing at the New Books Display in the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center. These copies were generously presented to Penn readers by the Free Library and its project sponsors.
