The Penn Library is proud to announce the availability of Communication Abstracts in a new searchable database interface. This new format permits efficient PennText Article Finder links to fulltext articles among Penn Library resources.
The database's Penn Library Web persistent URL and the Penn Library Web E-Resource Locator hyperlink have not changed.

CommAbs, edited from Temple University, provides bibliographic citations with abstracts for journal articles, books and book chapters, reports, and other materials on all aspects of communication research and related fields. Major areas of coverage include: general communication, mass communication, advertising, marketing, broadcasting, communication theory, interpersonal and intrapersonal communication, small group communication, organizational communication, journalism, public relations, radio, public opinion, speech, television, film studies, the role of technology in human communications, risk communication, and crisis communication.
CommAbs, produced since 1977, contains more than 35,000 abstracts. Bimonthly updates add approximately 600 records. CommAbs relies upon a core of approximately 120 journals for its content.
