The Vanderbilt Television News Archive has added online video streaming to its indexing of 30,000 network evening news broadcasts.

VTNA now includes RealOne-format online video for CNN WorldView and CNN NewsNight broadcasts, 1998 to the present -- defined as no more recent than three days old. Access to these video streams is through the standard VTNA search interface, usually by broadcast date and news subjects (including persons and places reported in the news broadcast).

Video streaming is not available for VTNA's indexing of ABC, CBS, and NBC news broadcasts. Penn readers interested in viewing excerpts of these other broadcasts are able to rent videotape copies from VTNA at a reduced cost.
