Hoesley Digital Literacy Fellows Program
The Penn Libraries are proud to welcome applications for the 2013-14 Hoesley Digital Literacy Fellows program. Partially funded by a generous gift from Penn Libraries' Board Member Jim Hoesley PAR'07, PAR'08 and his wife Sandee PAR'07, PAR'08, and conducted in collaboration with Career Services, the School of Arts and Sciences and the Center for Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CURF), the program will demystify technology, provide hands-on training and a website building project, and foster career connections. Apply now! Deadline: March 30, 2013

We welcome current sophomores and juniors to apply. The program will select a cohort of up to 15 students for the 2013-14 year. Students will meet with library staff to plan out personalized programs, and will have opportunity to delve deeper into technologies particularly relevant to careers of interest. The substantial technology expertise of the Weigle Information Commons and Vitale Digital Media Lab staff will be integral. Workshops with hands-on instruction and guest speakers on career-related planning will address a wide range of technology topics.
