Try Beilstein and Gmelin on Reaxys this fall!
(08-SEP-09)
This fall, Penn will be testing a new, Web-based interface to Beilstein and Gmelin, the most comprehensive handbooks of organic and inorganic/organometallic compounds, their properties, and their reactions. Called Reaxys, the new product combines the data available in Beilstein, Gmelin, and a new chemical patent database. Based on user response, we will decide whether or not to subscribe to this new system, which is more expensive than the current client version. Please try it out, using the link at the bottom of this news story, and send your comments and recommendations to Judith Currano (currano@pobox.upenn.edu).
