Benjamin Franklin Library Fund
In 1909 Penn Alumni established the Benjamin Franklin Library Fund. A gift in the past for the future.
Today the Library's electronic catalog, FRANKLIN, is the gateway not only to millions of printed materials, but electronic resources comprising the equivalent of two million printed books—unimagined in 1909!
The Penn Library of the 22nd Century? Funds such as this will ensure that the Library will be financially sound for the generations to come.
Materials purchased through this fund include:
- Social work and well-being
- Concerto per violoncello ed orchestra d'archi, [1988]
- Livre des savoirs : conversations avec les grands esprits de notre temps
- Conspiracy of the good : civil rights and the struggle for community in two American cities, 1875-2000
- Forgotten Philadelphia : lost architecture of the Quaker city
