The Patricia and Bernard Goldstein Electronic Classroom

The Patricia and Bernard Goldstein Electronic Classroom is a vital classroom for the Penn community. This state-of-the-art training facility orients students--and faculty--to the wealth of material that they can find on-line, and how to retrieve it. There are workstations where students can get hands-on experience. In addition, the facility is equipped with computer projection technology, and a master demonstration station.

Today's entering freshmen are expected to use sophisticated computer-assisted research to complete their assignments, and the Library has the key responsibility for training undergraduate and graduate students in the use of electronic research tools. Located on the first floor, the Electronic Classroom is a high-demand facility.
