How to Use RefWorks to Store Citations and Format Bibliographies
RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management tool. (The Library provides site access to RefWorks. ) You can use it to:

The first step is to create a personal RefWorks account.

After you set up an account, you can begin to import book records from the Franklin Penn Library Catalog or WorldCat, and journal articles references from article indexes, such as EBSCO Megafile, into your RefWorks account.

Once the records you need are in your RefWorks account, you can download the Write-N-Cite utility and use it to add formatted references into a Microsoft Word document and create a bibliograpy at the end of that document. You can also create a quick bibliography for references in your RefWorks database.

Some RefWorks guides are available.
The RefWorks website also provides a useful Learn RefWorks section.

If you encounter problems, please ask for help from a librarian.
