How to Use RefWorks to Store Citations and Format Bibliographies
RefWorks is a web-based bibliographic management tool. You can use it to:

The first step is to create a personal RefWorks account.
The Library has created a 15 page User's Guide for RefWorks which you may want to print out.

The next step is to import book and journal article references from the Franklin Catalog and the Library's databases into your RefWorks account.
We have a set of directions on how to do this for each database.
If you encounter problems, please ask for help from a librarian.

Finally, once the records you need are in your RefWorks account you can download the Write-N-Cite utility and use it to add formatted references into a Microsoft Word document.
