Fine Arts Library Reserves
Information for Students
Click here for information on locating reserve materials in the library.
Electronic reserves will be accessible through your Canvas course site under the "Penn Libraries Course Reserves" button.
Information for Faculty
Faculty may place books, journal articles and other materials on reserve at the Fine Arts Library. Increasingly, departmental staff scan submitted materials for uploading to Canvas. To ensure maximum availability for all users, most reserve materials do not leave the library. Some reserve items circulate overnight: contact Fisher's Reserves Coordinator for additional information. If we need to purchase a title for your course, let us know. But please note: we do not purchase textbooks for the collection.
Occasionally, art and architecture reserve materials may be found in Rosengarten Reserve. This facility, located on the ground floor of the Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center, is open for extended hours.
Books are placed on reserve in departmental libraries, school libraries, or Rosengarten Reserves are listed in Franklin, the online catalog.
