Veterinary Library Reserves
Faculty may place books, journal articles, and other material on Reserve at the Veterinary Library.
Journal articles:
Journal articles are filed by the course instructor's name and must be used in the library. Upon request, the Veterinary Library will also provide electronic access to the articles, by scanning them and linking them to the "Course" pages in SPOT.Books:
The Veterinary Library places required and recommended course readings on Reserve, behind the Circulation Desk. To ensure maximum availability for all users, Reserve books do not leave the Library, except for overnight use. Reserve books may be checked out by members of the Veterinary community 1/2 hour before closing time, and, to avoid fines, must be returned at opening time the following morning. When books are placed on reserve, their locations are listed as "Veterinary Library Reserve" in Franklin, the online catalog.
If you would like to place any materials on Reserve, please e-mail Lisa Appel at vetlib@pobox.upenn.edu or give her a call at 215-898-8895.
