- Give you more control over presentation of their work
What Putting Dissertations in Scholarly Commons Will Not Do:
- Prohibit you from publishing dissertations elsewhere
- Take away your copyright or other proprietary rights of the author
- Prohibit you from placing a limited embargo on their work
