Library Staff

Margaret Lindem is the head librarian for the Veterinary Library. She makes administrative decisions regarding the Library and supervises other library employees. She also answers reference and research questions, teaches workshops, and is responsible for outreach to the School of Veterinary Medicine community.

Catherine Hinton processes interlibrary loan requests from Penn Vet community members for materials at other institutions. She is also responsible for technical processing of library materials and maintaining the collection. She manages student employees at the Library, and is the main contact for inquiries about student employment.

Karen Lane is responsible for managing reserve materials at the library, especially course reserves. She also processes interlibrary loan requests for Veterinary Library materials from members of other institutions, and performs upkeep on catalog records for Veterinary Library materials in Franklin.

Becca Lausch is responsible for completing special projects for the library head. She also manages billing for interlibrary loans and helps to maintain library technology. When needed, she assists with document delivery requests from Penn Vet community members, answering reference questions, and staffing the front desk.
