Medieval coffer box

As classes and researchers returned to the library this past academic year, curators at the Kislak Center continued their mission to expand our holdings in exciting and innovative ways. From a fourteenth-century manuscript collection of plague remedies, to a book woven on an automated silk loom, to a handwritten Turkish translation of Uncle Tom’s Cabin, to a catalogue and sample of photo jewelry, many exciting new items have been added to our collections in the past year. Drop-in to the Kislak Center’s Orrery Pavilion to get a first-hand look at some of these fascinating new arrivals.
