Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

Being an Organized Anthropologist: Zotero for beginners

Research in anthropology and archaeology involves compiling many sources - everything from books & journal articles to maps, interviews, and a variety of media. Learn how to use the free and user-friendly software, Zotero, in order to collect your sources, keep your research organized, and generate citations for your papers.

Two students are studying in Level 2 Study Lounge.

Specifically, this workshop will cover:

  • setting up and managing your Zotero library across devices and in the cloud, 
  • adding sources to your Zotero library while doing research online and off,
  • keeping notes in Zotero,
  • adding citations and bibliography to Word documents.
