Caricature self portrait of Wilkinson.

Signe Wilkinson is an editorial cartoonist for the Philadelphia Inquirer and creator of the nationally syndicated comic Family Tree (2008-2011) and Inquirer favorite Penn's Place (2011-2015). In addition to her 1992 Pulitzer Prize, Wilkinson has received many accolades in her prolific career—though her favorite citation was being named "The Pennsylvania State Vegetable Substitute". Following Wilkinson's talk there will be an exhibition of items from the Lorraine Beitler Collection of the Alfred Dreyfus Affair in the Henry Charles Lea Library.
