Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

A group of five musicians playing string instruments

The Night Music Ensemble, performing with mezzosoprano Meg Bragle, recreates Pauline Viardot’s salon through music works known to have been performed there. Composers include Viardot, Ignaz Moscheles, Johannes Brahms, Frédéric Chopin, Franz Joseph Haydn, George Friederic Handel,  Domenico Dragonetti, and Gioachino Rossini.

Pre-concert lecture at 6:15 by Hilary Poriss (Northeastern University), followed by the concert (no intermission) at 7:00 pm.
