Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall.

For All Visitors

The nature of a high-density facility precludes the possibility of browsing through the collection to locate materials. Generally, users with specific needs are encouraged to request delivery of books and journals to the on-campus library of their choice.

Users can request that materials from storage be delivered for use in any of the libraries on campus through the Franklin catalog; or, alternatively, they can request through this form.

In cases where the user must consult a large number of volumes at once, it may instead be more convenient to ask for those materials to be retrieved and held in the reading room at LIBRA. To visit LIBRA in person, both Penn and non-Penn users must contact the LIBRA Facility staff in advance at 856-381-4025 or storage@pobox.upenn.edu to arrange a visit if it is appropriate.
