Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

Network maintenance: On Wednesday, May 15, 7am to 9am, Franklin, Colenda, and other locally-hosted applications will be down for maintenance.

As part of Penn Libraries’ Strategic Communications team, Amanda serves as principal writer for a variety of projects to raise the visibility of the Libraries' services, resources, and expertise and assists in ensuring Penn Libraries staff have the tools and content to communicate efficiently and effectively with Penn students, scholars, researchers, faculty, staff, and the public at large. She also ensures the accuracy, professionalism, and consistency of communications produced by the Strategic Communications team through copyediting, and ensuring alignment with style guide, best practices, and the strategic communications team’s goals in alignment with the Penn Libraries mission.  

Amanda previously worked as a staff writer for the Wharton School, and has worked as an editor and writer for both local/regional and national publications, including the University of Pennsyvlania Almanac. She holds a bachelor's degree in communication media and English literature from Lock Haven University and an MBA concentrated in marketing from Capella University. As a lifelong learner, she enjoys taking courses at Penn, most recently completing "Witchcraft and Gender in the Early Modern World." She loves talking about books!
