Angelica Rivera

Angelica’s role includes support of the data warehouse Metridoc, which contains data from numerous library services. She uses data science methods to create dashboards and data visualizations to gain insight into the performance of these services. An additional area of interest is developing user profiles by combining data across platforms.

Angelica graduated from Vassar College in 2015 with a double major in Astronomy and Physics. She received her PhD in Physics from Drexel University in 2021 and subsequently completed a postdoc at the United States Naval Academy. Her research projects at the latter two institutions centered around multi-wavelength analyses of quasars, galaxies with supermassive black holes at their centers which actively accrete large amounts of matter.
