Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

Sam Kirk is responsible for collection development and instruction related to psychology, social work, and social policy, and is the main library liaison to Penn's School of Social Policy and Practice (SP2) and the Psychology Department within the School of Arts & Sciences. Prior to becoming the Social Sciences Librarian, Sam worked for many years as the Information Literacy Librarian at Penn Libraries, and later managed the curricula support program for Drexel University Libraries. They have published on subjects ranging from using comics in critical librarianship to incorporating game-based learning in reference instruction. Sam holds a BA in English from George Washington University and a Masters in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University.
