Access to the College Green area of campus will be restricted until further notice. Current students, faculty and staff with a valid Penn card may enter and exit Van Pelt-Dietrich Library Center through the Rosengarten Undergraduate Study Center on the ground floor, and may enter and exit the Fisher Fine Arts Library through the 34th Street entrance to Meyerson Hall

For Students, Faculty, and Staff Associated with the University of Pennsylvania

  • The Atwood Library is accessible to all Penn ID card holders on weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Visitors with Penn ID cards that have not been activated for the Hill Pavilion can request access by using the intercom at the 380 South University Ave. entrance and displaying their Penn IDs to the camera. 

  • Evening and weekend access is restricted to Veterinary School students, faculty, and staff with Vet PennCards. 

  • Study rooms must be reserved through the schedule.vet online reservation system and can only be used by Penn Vet students, faculty, and staff.

For All Other Library Visitors

  • Visitors who do not have a Penn ID card must show a current, valid photo ID at the security desk in the Ryan Hospital lobby at 3900 Spruce St. Access is limited to weekdays between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
