A Look Back at 20 Years of Penn Libraries Exhibitions

On exhibit December 3, 2018 - February 1, 2019
Each exhibition at the Penn Libraries offers a glimpse of the enormous scope of our collections and the rich imagination of the collectors, curators, and designers who produced it. The posters displayed here illustrate the intellectual and visual range of materials that the Penn Libraries has shared with the public over the past twenty years. Our exhibition themes derive from the research interests of Penn faculty, staff, and students. They give us the opportunity to present books or manuscripts or objects—primary sources—that most people might not otherwise see. Usually, Penn exhibitions show Penn’s collections, but the Libraries also collaborate with partners, when their collections align with the interests of the Penn community.
