Seasons of Western Pennsylvania
The Photography of Donald M. Robinson
On exhibit January 9, 2002 - February 23, 2002
An internationally acclaimed photographer, Donald Robinson’s interest in photography was spurred at an early age. A trip to Mexico in 1950 was the first time he considered photography as a profession. This adventure was the catalyst for a photographic global odyssey. Mr. Robinson has portrayed the diversity of culture, wildlife, flora, and landscape across six continents and throughout 60 countries. His approach to photography ranges from the pictorial to the photo journalistic. This traveling exhibition features 67 stunning photographs by Robinson depicting the pristine western Pennsylvania landscape during each season of the year.
