This morning, Tuesday March 5th, ISC made the following change to wifi here at Penn.
Previously, to configure a device for AirPennNet (the encrypted, higher speed wifi network) users would first connect to AirPennNet-Help to configure their device. The “AirPennNet-Help” wifi network name has been retired. It has been replaced with the network name “Connect to AirPennNet.” This change was made based on feedback from the Penn Community and will hopefully be clearer for new users. The functionality of the configuration utility remains the same as it was previously.
No changes have been made to either the AirPennNet or AirPennNet-Guest networks. You do not need to do anything to devices already configured to use Penn wifi.
