Philadelphia Lithographers: James Queen (1824-ca. 1877)

James Queen was born in Philadelphia in 1824. He was apprenticed to the firm of Duval and Lehman in 1835. Although Queen occasionally worked for other firms in Philadelphia, including Wagner & McGuigan, most of his work was done for P. S. Duval.
