Courtney helps inspire a community of student makers and designers and assists efforts in accessibility and learning. She assists the Education Commons’ student workers, helping them problem solve and build relationships. She also offers administrative support around room reservations, programs, and more.

She has considerable experience writing about, curating and making art. She has made and facilitated everything from podcasts and blogs to performance art and quilts. Courtney has worked with the William Way Center, the Barnes Foundation, artist Jesse Krimes, and various art collectives throughout Philadelphia.

Courtney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Moore College of Art and Design, where she majored in Curatorial Studies with a minor in Textiles and spent four years as a student library assistant and Head Resident Assistant. She was a Visionary Women’s Honors Program honoree, a speaker at the 2021 Conference for Women in the Arts, and a Moore Travel Fellowship Recipient.
