Sam leads the Advancement Team, working in close collaboration with the Vice Provost and Director of Libraries, the Board of Advisors, and with colleagues in Development and Alumni Relations to advance the Libraries’ fundraising program in support of its Strategic Plan. Before coming to the Libraries, Sam was Regional Director, Major Gifts, at the Wharton School. Previously Sam was a Major Gifts Officer at Bryn Mawr College and Director of the Alumni Schools Committee and Associate Director of Admissions at the University of Chicago. An avid art collector and arts supporter, Sam is a past board member of the Center for Emerging Visual Artists, and he has been a guest speaker and curator at the Delaware Contemporary Art Museum. Sam has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s degree in choral conducting from the New England Conservatory.

Sam Duplessis
