Peter Emanuel Diamond, University of Pennsylvania, introduces the Digital Beehive and explores the proto-computational methods of organizing knowledge in the commonplace book of the 18th-century polymath and polyglot founder of Philadelphia’s Germantown, Francis Daniel Pastorius.
