What it is:

The Penn Libraries Instructional Design and Teaching Collaboration Services program empowers faculty to develop students’ fundamental information literacy and innovative technology skills through the development of lesson plans, assessments, and rubrics. Our library instructional designers are available at any stage of the course development process to help shape course syllabi and activities. Past collaborations have included:

  • Incorporating 3D modeling and printing into theatrical set design
  • Introducing intellectual property discussions in collaborative Wikipedia-editing assignments
  • Training for podcasting and other digital media production final projects
