The Eugene Ormandy Music & Media Center is named for the long-term conductor of the Philadelphia Orchestra, whose professional papers, conducting scores, and recordings the Penn Libraries hold.
The studio is a space for video, audio, and photo production. The room contains a video camera, microphone, audio recorder, lights, and backdrops including a greenscreen/chromakey backdrop.
The lab offers training, equipment and knowledgeable staff to assist patrons in working with digital media including video, audio, imaging, and web publishing. Lab resources are available to all current Penn students, faculty, and staff. Lab resources are not available to alumni and members of general public.
