
Matt Gallagher
Matt focuses on acquiring and licensing content that supports the teaching and research mission of the University. He works with bibliographers, consortia partners, and content providers to ensure that students, faculty, and staff have access to the broad range of resources provided by the University Libraries.
Before coming to Penn, Matt managed the library collection and led a Voyager-to-Alma migration at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. He also worked at the Rutgers University Libraries, focusing on visual media acquisitions and cataloging. Prior to libraries, Matt was a business manager and royalty accountant for the entertainment industry.
He holds an MS in Library and Information Science from Long Island University and an MA in History from Rutgers University.
